May 8, 2024 Update

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Aien passed her first Illinois board exams for counseling on May 1st, the day before her 25th birthday. Also, her thesis was accepted without revision. Praise God.

My wife will fly to Chicago next week to attend Aien's graduation.

God has prompted me to start a Bible Study for students on Wednesday at lunchtime (1 hour). I initially did not want to do it, but it seems God's will. Today will be the first meeting. Response from non-Christian students has been positive. Please pray. As I start this, I am feeling pressure.

Friday evening study continues with students from up to 7 different countries! In the Classics class, we will divide into three groups to study the Gospels for four weeks. I am thankful that HeXin will join this group but I am apprehensive.

I am now realizing the most significant impediment to the fulfillment of God's will in my life is myself -- not anyone else.
