AW Evaluation Item: Short Communication Style Paper

Overview

Students are required to submit a short communication style paper to demonstrate that they have learned the steps involved in writing and delivering a formal report of this type.

Cover Letter to explain what you are submitting (body of the Email)
Cluster Diagram (attachment, PNG)
Complete Linear Outline (attachment, PDF)
Final Draft (attachment, PDF)

Submission Guidelines

Report must be submitted in both hard and soft (electronic) copy formats.
Due Dates:
1. Cluster Diagram, Linear Outline, 1^st Draft: Week 6 ‐ Hard Copy
2. Cluster Diagram, Linear Outline, Final Draft: Week 9 ‐ Soft Copy (email)
3. First Revision (if needed): Week 11 ‐ Soft Copy
4. Second Revision (if needed): Week 12 ‐ Soft then Hard-Copy if Accept
Hardcopy: give directly to the teacher at class or during office hours.
Softcopy should be sent by Email to ScientificEnglish@gmail.com

The subject line of the Email should include

university acronym, course code, student ID, YES/NO (request detailed marking), your English name, My Life Story

Requirements

Topic: Case Study ‐ The Story of My Life. In this paper you will introduce your life story in the form of a short communication.
Length (L): 400 < L < 600 words.
Figures (F): not necessary
Citations and References (R): R > 0 (at least 1 citation & reference)

Micro-level	spelling/grammar	5

First Decision: ACCEPT (>17.5/25) or REVISE(0/25)
Second Decision: ACCEPT (>17.5/25) or REVISE(0/25)
Final Decision: ACCEPT (>17.5/25) or REJECT (0/25).
(This means that if total is <17.5 then you receive ZERO (0) and that incomplete submissions are unacceptable.
Reminder: Plagiarism is a serious offence. Students caught plagiarizing will be rewarded with the mark of 0 and will fail the course. A letter will be sent to the chairman of the department to inform the department about the situation.
