Summer Internship Position in Electrical Engineering

Employer: Handle Shipyards, Keelung, Taiwan

     For thirty years, Handle Shipyards has been helping Taiwanese companies export their products to the world.
     To support our growth, we are presently recruiting for three Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Summer Interns at our headquarters in Keelung. The Summer internship will provide the student with valuable exposure through real-life work experience, interesting projects, and networking with professionals. Responsibilities:

• Aiding in the documentation of computer software (Python and C languages)
• Assisting in the development of training manuals for Microsoft Office based applications
• Administrative tasks such as entering data, auditing data, filing, scanning, and indexing.

Requirements:

Legally eligible to work in Taiwan

Assets:

• Full time university student enrolled in Electrical Engineering
• Access to reliable transportation to/from Keelung
• Ability to work regular business hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday), from July 1 to August 30
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Basic Programming ability (C, Java or Python)
• English and Chinese language skills (Taiwanese and Japanese are a plus)
• Team player
