Circadian Effective Room Lighting

Uniform (shadow free) indirect 24 hour circadian effective white lighting covering a 10 to 20 square meter room with illuminance ranging from 2 Lux (Amber) at night to up to 1000 Lux (CCT 6500 K) at noon time. It includes...

  1. 10 m of cULus certified LED strip lighting (Warm White, Ice Blue, RGB, Amber)
  2. Certified (Canada/USA) 500W Class 2 power supply to power LED strips
    • 8 x 96W (dc24V) fused outputs
    • up to 12 channels
    • Built in micro-controller to dim six (customizable for up to 12) different colours of LED strips
  3. Software to control spectrum on a 24-hr schedule to supress melatonin (increase wakefulness) during the day, and stimulate melatonin secretion (enhance sleep) at night.
  4. FCC/IC certified remote control to vary between lighting modes: circadian effective and static (ON/OFF)
  5. Aluminum Cove to mount LED strips.
System can be customized to control up to 12 user selected LED strips

Circadian Effective Starter Kit

Cost effective indirect 24-hour circadian effective white lighting (covers 2 to 4 square meters).

  1. cULus certified LED strip lighting (2 m)
  2. ETL Certified(Canada/USA) 96W Class 2 power supply
  3. microcontroller
  4. Software to optimize spectra over 24 hours
  5. Aluminum Cove (2 * 1 m)

Circadian Friendly Night Lighting

Amber strip lights provide high visibility under both clear and foggy conditions without disrupting the circadian rhythm of either people or animals.

The system is composed of

  1. 20-50 meters of cULus certified Amber LED strip
  2. ETL Certified(Canada/USA) 96W Class 2 power supply
  3. Power Consumption: 1.5 W/m

Software (Open-Source)

To build spectra, calculate and optimize key parameters to aid in establishing tailored 24-hour circadian-effective dynamic white lighting systems. This code has been described in Leukos, the official journal of Illumination Engineering Society and is made available free-of-charge under GPL version 3.

Written in a modular format it can be used as an evaluation function,to calculate parameters that may be used by other AI enabled optimization algorithms, and to match spectraof different batches of LED strips. Click here for further information
